Protect the account
Use a strong, unique Amazon password and turn on Two-Step Verification. Never share your password or verification code.
Keep it off public pages
Do not place your personal address in the book description, author biography, website, social-media profile, or promotional materials.
Separate public contact
For public business contact, use a business email and an appropriate virtual or commercial mailbox where allowed. Do not substitute it for the ID address on this identity screen.
Use your legal ID name
Type your full name exactly as it appears on your government-issued ID. Do not enter “Georgia Study Skills” or a pen name in this identity field.
Match the government ID
Select the ID country and enter the address shown on the ID, even when it differs from your payment, tax, business, or mailing address.
Use an authorized person
If the KDP account belongs to a corporation or other non-individual entity, enter the identity details of its authorized representative.
Do not use a virtual address on this screen
A virtual mailing or business address should not replace the ID address here unless that same address is printed on the government-issued ID. KDP collects payment, tax, and mailing information separately.

Upload the planner interior and a full cover. Choose the Low-content option because planners contain pages customers fill in.
Kindle eBook
Use this for a parent guide or teacher guide that is mainly read on a screen. Reformat it for Kindle before uploading.

Continue selling downloadable or editable files through your current checkout. KDP is designed for books, not direct PDF-file delivery.

Sign in with Amazon and complete your author or publisher, payment, and tax information.
Prepare one product
Start with the Student Success Planner. Set the final trim size and save the interior as a print-ready PDF.
Create the listing

Upload and preview

Publish and connect

How to see your book on Amazon
First, check the status beside your book.
Wait until it says Live. Most books can take up to 3 business days; low-content books such as planners can take up to 10 business days.
Open your Bookshelf
Sign in to the KDP account you used to publish the book.
Find your title
Scroll to the book. If it is missing, remove filters or change the View menu to All titles.
Choose “View on Amazon”
Find the link beside your title. Hover over it to see each Amazon store where the book is available.
Open Amazon.com
Select the store you want. Your public Amazon product page will open; copy that page link to share it.
Still not showing in Amazon search? A new book may take up to 72 hours to appear in search results. Use the direct View on Amazon link from your Bookshelf while you wait.

PROFESSIONAL GUIDELINES
Teacher safeguards
Use these steps together with district policy, training, and guidance from authorized school personnel.
Implement the IEP as written
Provide each student’s documented accommodations, modifications, services, and supports. A class syllabus never replaces or changes an IEP.
Protect student privacy
Do not display disability labels, IEP goals, grades, progress data, or identifiable student work publicly. Use district-approved systems for records.
Use accessible instruction
Offer clear directions, models, chunked tasks, multiple ways to access information, and multiple ways to show learning—without lowering expectations unless the IEP requires modification.
Use approved materials
Link to or use school-licensed, public-domain, Creative Commons, or teacher-created resources. Do not upload or redistribute entire copyrighted books, workbooks, or paid resources.
Grade the stated skills
Grade organization, strategy use, reflection, completion, and growth using a published rubric. Do not reduce a grade because a student uses an accommodation.
Follow local policy
Have the special education lead or administrator approve the course code, grading rules, attendance language, technology, and parent communication procedures.

High School Study Skills — Course Overview
This course helps students strengthen organization, time management, learning strategies, executive functioning, test preparation, self-advocacy, and independent learning. Instruction includes modeling, guided practice, application to current coursework, reflection, and progress monitoring.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Use an organized system to track materials, assignments, and deadlines.
- Select and apply appropriate reading, note-taking, memory, and study strategies.
- Break larger assignments into manageable steps and monitor progress.
- Communicate learning needs appropriately and request available support.
- Reflect on strategy effectiveness and revise an independent learning plan.
Grading Template
Strategy Practice 35% • Application Tasks 30% • Learning Portfolio 20% • Reflection and Goal Monitoring 15%. Replace these percentages if district policy requires another grading structure.
Accommodations and Supports
Students will receive the accommodations, modifications, services, and supports documented in their current IEP, Section 504 Plan, or other applicable education plan. Questions about implementation will be referred promptly to the student’s case manager or appropriate school administrator.
Privacy and Technology
Student records and personally identifiable information will be handled through district-approved systems and shared only with authorized individuals who have a legitimate educational interest. Only district-approved digital tools and instructional materials will be used.
